Introduction
Emanuel Pollack Integrated Health Studies Awards
This award is given to a 2026 graduating Integrated Health Studies major who has a minimum 3.7 GPA in the major, has been declared IHS for a minimum of 3 semesters (may include their graduating term), and has shown dedication to their academic success through outreach with UIC resources including but not limited to: academic advising, career development advising, tutoring, research with faculty, peer coaching, etc. Its purpose is to recognize excellence amongst undergraduate students who have demonstrated a dedication to their development as a student, individual, and aspiring professional within the interdisciplinary world of health sciences. Two students will be selected from each concentration. The subcommittee will select the awardees who will receive a $500 honorarium. The Hirsch Family Award
Given to a $1,000 scholarship for a continuing, full-time student majoring in Biological Sciences, Integrated Health Sciences, or Neuroscience at UIC who displays academic excellence and has a minimum GPA of 3.50. Deadline to apply: March 1, 2026. Here is the application form.
Richard J. Massey Endowed Scholarship
The Richard J. Massey Endowed Scholarship Fund was established to acknowledge excellence in our undergraduate Biological Sciences, Neuroscience and Integrated Health Studies students who are pursuing their passion for the life sciences. Only continuing, full-time students are eligible to apply for the award.
The winner will receive an award of $1,100 scholarship. Deadline to apply: March 1, 2026. Here is the application form.
